Stark Future offers the Stark Varg MX Factory Edition in a limited edition.

Stark Future is upping the ante and launching two new special editions of its Varg series. With the Varg MX Factory Edition and the Varg EX Factory Edition, the Spanish manufacturer is introducing two strictly limited versions that incorporate numerous components directly from motorsport.

Only 200 units of the motocross version and 300 units of the enduro version will be produced worldwide.

Motorsport as a development platform

Since the introduction of the first Varg, Stark Future has strategically used racing to further develop the motorcycle. Whether in the World Supercross Championship, the SuperEnduro World Championship, the EnduroGP, or at hard enduro events – the insights gained from competition have been continuously incorporated into the production models.

The new Factory Editions are intended to represent the pinnacle of this technology transfer to date. The focus is less on additional power and more on making the existing potential more readily available to the driver.

KYB Factory A-Kit included as standard

The centerpiece of both special edition models is the complete KYB Factory A-Kit suspension system. For the first time, a manufacturer is offering this high-quality factory component as standard equipment on a production motorcycle.

The package includes, among other things, a 48-millimeter upside-down fork with Kashima coating, DLC-coated inner tubes, a three-way adjustable shock absorber, and an X-Trig spring compressor. The aim is more sensitive response, increased traction, and greater stability – both under braking and in challenging terrain.

Less weight, more control

In addition to the chassis, Stark also worked on numerous details. 3D-printed titanium footpegs and a complete titanium screw set reduce the weight by more than one kilogram. CNC-machined triple clamps, a grippier seat, and a redesigned radiator fan bracket were also added.

Also new is Dynamic Traction Control. The system is integrated directly into the driving modes and is designed to optimize traction depending on the surface and driving style. Stark expects this to provide better control during acceleration, especially on varying surfaces.

Two models, two areas of application

The Varg MX Factory Edition is clearly aimed at motocross riders. It rolls on Dunlop MX34 tires and has 310 millimeters of front suspension travel. Visually, it stands out from the standard model with an exclusive red factory paint scheme.

The Varg EX Factory Edition uses the same technical platform but is specifically designed for enduro riding. In addition to a revised suspension setup, features include handguards, windscreen protectors, and Dunlop Geomax EN91 tires. Despite its racing pedigree, the EX remains street legal. Both models produce 80 hp.

Sébastien Tortelli: “That’s exactly how I would build my own motorcycle.”

For Stark Racing director Sébastien Tortelli, the Factory Editions are the result of years of development work.

“Racing and motorcycle development have shaped my entire life. Every test ride and every race has provided us with new insights that have been directly incorporated into the Varg. The Factory Editions weren't about creating more power, but about giving riders more grip, more precision, and more confidence. That's exactly how I would build my own motorcycle,” explains the former Motocross World Champion.

Limited edition

Both Factory Editions will be produced only once. The Varg MX Factory Edition is limited to 200 units, while 300 Varg EX Factory Edition motorcycles will be produced worldwide. Stark Future is thus targeting riders who are looking for a particularly exclusive and race-oriented version of the Varg.
