Simon Längenfelder will compete for Team Germany at the MXoN 2025

Simon Längenfelder will be part of the German team at the prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN). The Red Bull KTM factory rider will take on the role of MX2 rider as in previous years and will compete in the national competition on October 4 and 5, 2025 on the legendary Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville (Indiana, USA) at the start.

Längenfelder placed again – his fifth MXoN appearance

For the current leading driver of the MX2 World Championship it is already the fifth appearance at MXoNWith consistency, technology and racing intelligence, the 21-year-old is driving his strongest season to date in 2025. Längenfelder was therefore the first choice for the German team management, as team bosses Marcel Dornhöfer and Karsten Schneider confirm:
"Simon is in top form, is having an exceptional World Championship season, and was the clear choice for us in the MX2 class."

Duel of the top stars: Will Längenfelder face Haiden Deegan?

A special duel is brewing at the Ironman Raceway venue. Simon Längenfelder is expected to face Haiden Deegan there. The US star currently dominates the American motocross scene. After winning the 250SX West Supercross Championship, he is now on the verge of also clinching the 250MX title in the Pro Motocross series. This would not only make Deegan a multiple title holder in 2025, but he is also considered the clear favorite in the MX2 class at his home MXoN in Indiana.

A potential clash with Deegan doesn't make Längenfelder's task any easier – and adds even more excitement to the Nations Cup. While Deegan will compete on home soil and in front of an enthusiastic crowd, Längenfelder, with his World Championship leadership and experience from several MXoN events, brings the necessary skills to confidently enter the direct duel.

US flair, big goals

For Längenfelder it is already the second start at an MXoN in the USAThe anticipation is correspondingly high: "I'm very happy to be back representing Germany. The atmosphere at the MXoN in America is special – the tracks, the paddock, the fans, everything is huge. I love the open, fast courses there, and the Ironman Raceway suits me," says the Upper Franconian. "But first, my focus is on the World Championship – I want to travel to the USA with a lot of momentum."

The mission begins

With Simon Längenfelder, the Team Germany A real top performer has been secured early on. The other riders for the MXoN squad will be announced in the coming days. One thing is already clear: an international showdown at the highest level awaits at the Ironman Raceway – and the potential duel Längenfelder vs. Deegan could become the eagerly awaited climax.

However, the current status of the Open and MXGP class seats has not yet been determined. This is due to the pending confirmation of Ken Roczen, the potential German team captain, by the beginning of the week.
