Motocross up close – and now also in the heart of Lower Saxony: With Sulingen, the ADAC MX Academy powered by KTM This initiative further demonstrates its commitment to promoting young talent in German off-road sports. Starting in April, children and teenagers in northern Germany will be able to immerse themselves in the world of motocross for the first time, under structured and professional guidance.

Getting started made easy – directly in Sulingen

With the new location, the ADAC MX Academy expands its network to seven permanent training centers. In cooperation with the ADAC Weser-Ems and MSG Sulinger Land eV A new contact point for young motorsport fans aged 6 to 13 is being built south of Bremen.

The goal is clear: a simple, safe and affordable entry into motocross – without obstacles, without your own equipment, but with maximum driving fun.

For as little as 80 euros, participants receive an all-inclusive package: motorcycle, protective clothing, support from licensed trainers – and above all, the opportunity to gain their first real motocross experience.

Strong setup: KTM provides the basis

For the new location KTM has invested heavily and is providing ten new bikes:

five SX-E5 – electric, quiet and ideal for beginners – as well as five SX 65 with a classic combustion engine. A combination that has proven itself in recent years as the perfect mix for getting started.

But that’s not all:

  • Ortema provides additional safety with neck supports
  • Motul supplies lubrication and maintenance products
  • Louis supported with infrastructure and equipment

A complete package that shows: Here, youth development is not just announced, but consistently implemented.

Tradition meets Future

Sulingen's becoming part of the Academy is no coincidence. MSG Sulinger Land The club looks back on over 40 years of motocross experience. Motorsport has been actively practiced here since 1983 – with currently around 170 members, including about 40 children and teenagers.

Only last year was a separate 600-meter-long training track with a clay-sand mix Built specifically for young talent, inclusion in the Academy program is therefore more than logical – it's the next step in continuous development.

The club is also active in motorsports and regularly organizes events such as the NMX Cup or a 3-hour race .

Step by step to your first motocross experience

The concept of the ADAC MX Academy has grown over the years – and deliberately focuses on a structured introduction.

Before any engine is even started, the children first learn the basics:
How does a motorcycle work? How do I navigate off-road?

Only then do they progress from BMX-like exercises to their first real motocross bikes. Everything is done in a controlled, safe, and patient manner. The goal is not only to teach the young participants how to ride, but also... Understanding, control and trust build up.

Part of a larger network

The opening in Sulingen is not just a growing location – it's another building block in a nationwide concept. Besides Lower Saxony, there are established Academy locations in Frankenthal, Hörlitz, Tensfeld, Reutlingen, and Waldkappel-Breitau, among others.

In addition, the mobile version of the Academy tours Germany, bringing the sport to regions that do not have a fixed location.

More than just a course

What starts in Sulingen in April is more than just a taster course. It's a big deal for many children of the first real contact with motocross – perhaps even the start of a career.

And that is precisely the strength of the ADAC MX Academy: It provides an entry point, removes any apprehension, and opens the door to a scene that is otherwise often difficult to access.

With Sulingen, the north now has exactly this opportunity.
