The Kove 800 Rally is aimed at riders who not only use their motorcycle on the road, but also on long off-road stages and challenging gravel tracks. For those who want to further exploit the potential of this adventure touring motorcycle, a new option is now available. The Italian Andreani Group has introduced a suspension upgrade specifically tailored to the Kove 800 Rally.
The package was developed in collaboration with Greg Gordinne. The Belgian is active in hard enduro and rally-raid racing and is also one of KoveMoto's brand ambassadors. The goal was to further optimize the suspension for both fast sections and technically challenging terrain.
New STX shock absorber for the rear wheel
For the rear end, Andreani relies on the new AG 2668 STX shock absorber.
The focus is on extensive adjustability, allowing riders to tailor the motorcycle to different roads and load conditions. Features include integrated hydraulic spring preload and three-stage high-speed compression damping with various modes. Soft Drinks, Medium and Hard.
Furthermore, both the low-speed compression and rebound damping can be adjusted separately via click adjusters. This allows the shock absorber to be tuned for both long touring and tough off-road use.
Öhlins fork replaces the standard components
High-quality technology is also used at the front. The conversion package includes the... Öhlins RXF 48.
The upside-down fork also features individually adjustable compression and rebound damping and is designed to offer more stability and control, especially on uneven terrain.
A special feature is the CNC-machined fork legs. They increase manufacturing precision and are also intended to improve the rigidity of the structure. As a result, Andreani promises more sensitive responsiveness and more precise feedback from the front wheel.
More reserves in the terrain
The suspension kit is designed to Andrean primarily aimed at riders who regularly use their Kove 800 Rally off-road and want to adapt the standard suspension to their personal requirements.
The numerous adjustment options allow for more precise tuning of the motorcycle, both at high speeds and on slow, technically demanding off-road sections. Riders carrying luggage or traveling on varying surfaces will especially benefit from significantly more options to individually influence the handling characteristics.
The development of the chassis upgrade also demonstrates the growing growth of an aftermarket for the Kove 800 Rally. Alongside the motorcycle itself, the range of high-quality components available to riders looking to further enhance their rally enduro is also expanding.
