Beta RR Race 4t of the year 2026

Beta is breaking new ground this year: Instead of the usual autumn launch, the Italian manufacturer has presented its new RR Race models 2026 has already been presented. The traditional Tuscan company is responding to the high demand for the sportiest versions of its enduro series.

"The RR Race has always stood for uncompromising performance. With the 2026 model year, we wanted to give our riders a motorcycle that's ready for any track sooner than usual," explains a Beta spokesperson.

Innovations in two-stroke engines

A lot has changed, especially in the 2-stroke segment. The 250 and 300 models have been significantly technically redesigned. The engine and cylinders have been redesigned, and a special piston complements the revised geometry. The result: noticeably more torque, more consistent power delivery, and overall more harmonious handling.

A key role is played by the dual spark plug, which is now used in both models. "This allows us to achieve more stable combustion and better control of engine performance—even if one spark plug fails, the motorcycle remains operational," according to sources at Beta.

The transmission has also been updated: Second gear has been extended to smoother transitions and provide more stability at race pace. Robust bearings complete the engine updates.

Durability and rideability were also a focus for the smaller models, the 125 and 200. A new, reinforced transmission ensures precise gear shifts on the 125, while the 200 benefits from improved load distribution in the drivetrain – without altering the familiar riding feel.

Fine-tuning the four-stroke engines

The 4-stroke models also enter the new model year with fresh adjustments. Here, the focus was on the electronics: A new mapping ensures more consistent power delivery across the entire rev range. This should give riders more control, especially on difficult terrain.

“Our goal was not to radically change the engines, but to make them even more usable,” said a Beta technician.

Racing package ex works

Beta traditionally supplies its race models with components clearly geared toward competition. This includes the proven 48-millimeter KYB closed-cartridge fork and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear. Both components have been considered benchmarks in the scene for years.

The quick-release front axle is also practical, allowing for quick tire changes in an emergency. Added to that are robust hand protectors, slim but grippy Ergal footrests, and a lightweight ZF Sprockets sprocket.

Visually, the new models clearly stand out from the standard versions thanks to the non-slip racing seat, numerous red anodized aluminum parts, and unique graphics.

Availability and outlook

The new Beta RR Race models 2026 will be available at dealers starting in September – a month earlier than in previous years. This is welcome news for many riders: those who are already racing or attending training camps in the fall can use the new generation right away.

“We wanted to get closer to the needs of our drivers – and that includes an earlier market launch,” emphasizes Beta.

This makes it clear: With the RR Race 2026, Beta is focusing on reliability, noticeable technical advances, and a presentation that goes straight to the heart of the MX community – objective, sporty, and with an eye on what really matters on the track.
